Rayman 2 Forever

It's a little weird that I didn't already play this, since I played through and enjoyed the first Rayman (GBC) like 7 years ago.

I'd say this game's pretty fun. I thought that the level design in particular was really good.

Rayman himself generally felt nice to control. Ladders/climbable walls were kinda annoying to jump off of though.

Understandably, a ton of the really memorable moments from the console versions are missing here.

At least Ssssam the watersnake appears.

The last level was particularly off. It's just a copy and pasted Henchman 800(?) (Edit: It is indeed Henchmen 800) bossfight from only a few levels back.

When it comes to my biggest gripes, I thought it was hard to tell at times what was and what wasn't a platform, and wish you could've panned the camera further downward while crouching to compensate for the smalI screen size.

In conclusion, if you're a fan of 2D platformers, I would recommend giving this game a shot. 👍
