Goodbye Despair Musical

I was gonna make an October Media Post, but this is the only non-My Hero Academia thing I have to talk about, and the My Hero Academia stuff is going into its own post.

I doubt this was the most comprehensive way to experience Danganronpa 2, but I had fun watching it. The Monokuma actor, along with their costume/puppet, were my favorite, they brought a great spirit to the character.

Something didn't sit right with me in Danganronpa The Animation, I'm pretty sure Monokuma offhandedly mentions the students as being Gen Z, but from my understanding it took place before Gen Z would've been in High School. Anyways, this adaptation of Danganronpa 2 actually straight up feels very Gen Z (or rather American Gen Z to be more specific). As someone who's a part of Gen Z, I found it's writing very entertaining.

If these people aren't actually Gen Z, this whole segment would be embarrassing.
